About Jessica:
Hey all! I’m Jessica Granish, the fun, sassy, straightforward, heart-centered entrepreneur behind the Virtual Assistant Roadmap.
You could say becoming a business coach was inevitable, as I have been in the virtual assistant industry since 2003. My primary residence is in Colorado. At one point during a nasty divorce I actually couch surfed with my two children. I had my laptop, my kids, some clothes and life was what it was.
If it wasn't for running my own business I would have never been able to get back on my feet. I worked really hard. Long nights. Lots of hours. But being a couchsurfer and an entrepreneur at that time I really learned how to work remotely and on the go (it can be challenging.)
With all that said many many years have gone by now and I'm still going strong I travel quite often with my family and friends. We're actually going on a cruise end of April. We are going to be gone for 2 weeks. Just two weeks ago I was vacationing in Mexico! All while rocking my business and making the cheddar.
I have gone on long road trips and stopped off at coffee shops and worked while i navigated beautiful roadways. This virtual assistant lifestyle that I have built is everything that I have always dreamed of, and more! I make a very decent living averaging 8,000 to $10,000 a month. And am so happy that my journey has taken me to far distant places. Next on my VA go list is Thailand!
Three Fun Facts About Me:
- I spend my free time jamming on the mandolin or guitar, adventuring in the mountains with my children or hula hooping at concerts!
- I am fueled by freedom! Building a life around my terms. Showing my daughters that they can shatter glass ceilings, achieve their dreams and live the life they want.
- Nothing makes me happier than traveling and exploring. The open road and far distance worlds make me happy.
